You will serve as a Support Services Specialist with the Logistics Division, Transportation, Supply, and Support Services Branch responsible for project management, supplier management, strategic alignment, and process optimization and continuous improvement. You will also be responsible for leading and managing multiple projects while driving supplier management strategy and overseeing vendor performance to ensure high-quality services, cost efficiency, and timely delivery.

Duties

Duties described below are at the highest grade advertised. Duties assigned at lower grade levels will be of more limited scope, performed with less independence and limited complexity; duties will be commensurate with the grade of selected employee. Oversee multiple complex projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment, managing risks, and delivering results across all projects. Continuously refine and optimize the processes based on feedback, performance metrics, and new best practices. Ensure that the processes are adaptable and scalable. Drive overall supplier management strategy and Lead Vendor Performance Excellence. Manage multiple furniture acquisition projects across various locations, ensuring seamless integration with large-scale construction efforts. Oversee a portfolio of projects, ensuring that they align with the broader organizational strategy and that resources are optimally allocated across initiatives while balancing long-term goals with short-term project needs. Qualifications

Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. To qualify for GS-09 level, you must have: a) One year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 level: Assisting with the development of detailed project plans for office usage improvements; Assisting in the assessment of office sites for usage improvement; and Verifying furniture and supplies received are appropriate for ongoing office renovation projects. OR b) Completed all requirements for a master's or equivalent graduate degree in an appropriate field OR c) Completed 2 full academic years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a master's degree or equivalent graduate degree in an appropriate field OR d) LL.B or J.D, if related OR e) Have an equivalent combination of experience and graduate study as discussed in a), b), c) and d) above To qualify for GS-11, you must have: a) One year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 level: Developing detailed project plans and providing progress updates to stakeholders; Conducting site assessments with stakeholders to verify office renovation and furniture needs; and Facilitating communication between vendors and customers to ensure seamless coordination toward project completion. OR b) Completed all requirements for a doctoral degree (i.e., Ph.D. or equivalent) in an appropriate field OR c) Completed 3 full academic years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. degree or equivalent doctoral degree in an appropriate field OR d) LL.M., if related OR e) Have an equivalent combination of experience and graduate study as discussed in a), b), c) and d) above To qualify for GS-12, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level: Overseeing multiple simultaneous large-scale office renovation and construction projects to ensure furniture and supply acquisition integrates with facility planning; Standardizing site assessment processes to ensure consistency and efficiency; and Overseeing vendor supply procurement for site usage projects, verifying receipt of proper supplies.
