You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the NAVAL AIR WARFARE CENTER AIRCRAFT DIVISION SE & ALRE GROUP of NAVAIRWARCENADLKE.
Duties
You will coordinate and integrate the logistics efforts of lower level LMS personnel working in the assigned area.
You will serve as the technical authority in acquisition logistics and is responsible for the planning and execution of Integrated Logistics Support Plans (ILSP).
You will analyze logistics plans and program development for identification of potential impact on, or interaction with other programs and recommends potential solutions.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Specialized experience.
Planning, managing, and executing field integration and life cycle supportability of Aircraft Launch & Recovery Equipment (ALRE), and Support Equipment systems.
Developing and implementing logistics policies, controls and operating procedures during all phases of the life cycle.
Analyzing requirements and deficiencies and formulating logistics solutions to ensure Fleet capability and operational readiness.
Leading multi-disciplined teams of government and/or contractor personnel responsible for executing sustainment efforts for aviation equipment.
Collaborating and proposing recommendations to senior officials concerning program status, direction, resources, and schedules.
