You will serve as a ELECTRONIC SECURITY SYSTEM MECHANIC LEADER in the Public Works Department of NAVFAC SOUTHWEST.

Duties

You will coordinate maintenance work assignments among staff to maintain work progress and meet schedules. You will explain procedures, policies, written instructions, or other directives to others performing maintenance work. You will mentor and provide training for new employees. You will inform supervisors on status and progress of work and work delays.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Qualifications

This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. Applicants who do not receive a minimum of two points on the screen-out element(s) will be found ineligible. The Screen-out Element for this position is: 1) Assisting with troubleshooting, repair, align, modify, install calibrate and maintain integrated systems; 2) Assisting with running diagnostic tests for analyzing readings and operating conditions to pinpoint and isolate system malfunction; 3) Operating hand and power tools to perform electrical tests, measurements, and maintenance.
