This position is located in the Architect of the Capitol, Office of the Chief of Operations, Senate Office Buildings, Facility Operations Division, Maintenance Branch, Air Conditioning Section. The selectee assists the Air Conditioning Equipment Mechanic Supervisor to exercise oversight of the Building Automation System Network (BASnet) technical and administrative supervision over workers performing air conditioning (A/C) mechanical work.

Duties

The individual selected for this position will plan, lay out, direct, coordinate and check the work of Air Conditioning Equipment Mechanics who perform preventative maintenance inspections, major overhauls, installations and repairs to various air conditioning and refrigeration equipment, steam operated cooking equipment, and hot water generators.
