You will serve as an Office Automation Assistant in the Naval War College - Women, Peace, and Security Division of NAVAL WAR COLLEGE.
Duties
You will assist with scheduling meetings and activities in all stages of event planning and execution.
You will prepare materials for printing, production, and clerical support in support of special events.
You will arrange and maintain liaison with lodging establishments to ensure necessary accommodations are available and in accordance with guest/event preferences.
You will assist in the preparation of factual reports on major/special events.
You will type a variety of material such as letters, memoranda, reports, publications, manuscripts, statistical tables and similar material from handwritten drafts prepared by various office personnel.
You will file material to be retained in the office.
You will ensure compliance with instructional guides and department information regarding content and accuracy of the data input.
You will provide travel support to the Women, Peace, and Security (WPS) program.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Using office automation software to prepare correspondence, messages, emails, and other documents and routing to the appropriate recipient; 2) Establishing and maintaining office files in accordance with regulations; and 3) Utilizing a web-based database management system to enter or retrieve data and/or maintain records.

Education
In lieu of general/specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Successful completion of 4 years of education above high school level.
OR
A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience. My percentage of the required education plus my percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent.
