About the Position: This position is in Logistics Data Analysis Center (LDAC), at US Army Materiel Command Logistics Data Analysis Center, Mission Support Division, Resources Branch, Redstone Arsenal, AL.
Multiple positions may be filled from this position.
Duties
Formulate statements of work, prepare initial independent government cost estimates, review deliverables, ensures deliverables meet milestones and established goals, and verify and approves vouchers for payments.
As the Contracting Officer Representatives (CORs) develop performance criteria and requirements into sound/sufficient Statements of Work and/or task orders/defendable justifications for contractors to perform.
Coordinate, provide data and guides the Budget Analyst in matters of estimating costs; cost accounting categories and executed funds predicated on contractor invoices and billing/reporting statements.
Meet with contractors and appropriate procuring activities to discuss program progress, difficulties encountered, change proposals, contractual interpretations, terminations, cancellations, etc.
Provide guidance to senior management officials as well as functional and technical experts on contractual matters based on a working knowledge of acquisition regulations and policy.
Requirements
- Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.
- This position may require TDY travel up to 10%.
- This position requires Contracting Professional Certification in the acquisition career field of Contracting within 36 months.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: Monitoring contract performance, analyze, and advise on the issues that arise and require resolution. Developing acquisition objectives and milestones to obtain the required contract services. Making decisions or recommendations that significantly affect the content, interpretation, or development of complex contracting policies. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12 or above).
