About the Position: The main NCR-Network Office is located at 6000 MacArthur Blvd in Bethesda MD. This position works primarily at 8995 Wood Road, Bethesda MD. The employee will be required to traverse between offices. Work hours are Monday-Friday, 0730-1630, routine telework is not available, and alternative work schedules are not available. The work environment is a fast-paced office setting with constantly shifting priorities.

Duties

Perform executive level support duties and analyses under general supervision. Evaluate and analyze administrative programs to ensure smooth daily operation. Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining to the Director. Manage an extremely active calendar of appointments; composing and proofreading correspondence that is sometimes confidential; arranging complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas. Research, assemble, edit, and/or summarize a wide variety of subject material pertinent to the organization. Receive high ranking visitors from both the military and civilian communities, to include members of Congress, press and foreign officials.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security investigation or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes managing complex and detailed scheduling for executive leadership; ensuring compliance with regulatory guidance in administrative operations; developing internal procedures to adequately control deadlines and directives; utilizing automated systems to prepare letters, memorandums, and reports; and compiling data for inclusion in reports. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
