You will serve as a Housing Manager (Inspector) of NAS KEY WEST.

Duties

You will analyze instructions and directives from higher authorities to evaluate and implement into program policies. You will assemble facts, evaluate information, and draft reports to resolve housing problems. You will advise housing management on plan to ensure maintenance and repairs are scheduled and completed.

Requirements

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • MSP/PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-07) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties: 1) conducting housing facility inspections and identifying deficiencies; 2) interpreting, explaining and applying technical requirements and specifications to quality problems encountered in such activities as audits, facility inspections, or investigations; and 3) preparing reports and point papers that include information relative to data collection, analysis and recommendation for action. Education

In lieu of general/specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

Have successfully completed a master's or equivalent graduate degree

OR

Have successfully completed two full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a master's degree.

OR

Have obtained an LL.B. or J.D. that is related to the position being filled.

OR

Have a combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
