You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST within NAVSUP FLT LOGISTICS CNTR JACKSONVILLE.
Duties
You will assist Senior Logistics Management Specialists to ensure the integration of logistics elements into the ship design and construction process.
You will use Navy ERP, eMALL, and GPC to generate requisitions for a wide range of equipment, services, and commodities.
You will assist with developing required maintenance documentation for assigned equipment and systems.
You will liaison with NAVSUP WSS, commercial vendors, and various support commands throughout the outfitting process.
Requirements

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Applying knowledge of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) management principles, concepts, and methodologies to provide logistics support for assigned components, systems, or sub-systems. Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Working knowledge of maintenance planning, technical data, support and test equipment planning, and outfitting/procurement; 2) Generating requisitions, investigating issues with stock number migration, source determination, and identifying alternate sources for substitute material; 3) Assisting in overall configuration management/control to ensure required logistics products are identified to maintain life cycle support; and 4) Entering data into computer databases and information systems (i.e. Navy ERP, eMALL, OneTouch, and GPC).

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Successful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree
OR
Successful completion of two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree
OR
Possession of an LL.B. or J.D. that is related to this position being filled.
