Duties
This position is located within the Department of the Interior, Office of the Secretary, Office of Emergency Management, Continuity Programs Division, Denver, CO
At the full performance level GS14, the major duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
1. As the Department's Devolution, Continuity & Resilience Coordinator, this position leads and advises the Department's devolution, continuity, and resilience program on planning, preparedness, and policy (PPP) activities for continuity plans and programs that support the resilience of DOI's essential functions and command and control.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualification Requirements: To qualify for this position, you must meet the Specialized Experience for the series to which you are applying.
Specialized Experience
To qualify for the GS-14, you must possess at least one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service, or comparable experience not gained through Federal service. Specialized experience is experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience is defined as demonstrated experience (must meet all to qualify):
1) managing a continuity, contingency, mission assurance, or resilience program in government or private industry;
2) coordinating or managing a Test, Training & Exercise (TT&E) plan or program for a preparedness mission area;
3) leading the development, review, and/or revision of an organization's preparedness mission area plan, policies, and/or procedures; and
4) advising and presenting recommendations on current continuity plans, policies, and requirements that provide direction for continuity operations during a crisis or disaster.

Specialized experience is experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience is defined as demonstrated experience (must meet all to qualify):
1) providing technical advise on continuity, contingency, mission assurance, or resilience program in government or private industry;
2) coordinating and executing a Test, Training & Exercise (TT&E) plan or program for a preparedness mission area;
3) contributing to the development, review, and/or revision of an organization's preparedness mission area plan, policies, and/or procedures; and
4) presenting recommendations on current continuity plans, policies, and requirements that provide direction for continuity operations during a crisis or disaster.
