About the Position: Serves as a Management Analyst for the Army Civilian Career Management Activity (ACCMA).

Duties

Assist HR teams with tasks related to personnel and data management systems. Update HR Information Systems (HRIS) as needed. Provide application and automation support for HR functions. Manage HR system requests efficiently. Share program updates within HR training systems to facilitate communication and implementation.

Requirements

  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.

GS-11 Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: Assisting HR teams with personnel and data management systems. Providing high level expert knowledge in several areas pertaining to application support, updating HR Information Systems (HRIS), and managing routine HR system request. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09). OR Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages. GS-12 Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: Providing strategic assistance to HR teams on personnel and data management systems. Overseeing updates to HR Information Systems (HRIS), delivering application and automation support, and managing complex HR system requests. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). GS-12 Education: Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. GS-12 Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11). GS-11 Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the second lower grade or equivalent (GS-09)
