Duties
As a SUPERVISORY PROGRAM ANALYST at the GS-0343-14 some of your typical work assignments may include:
Provides unsurpassed counter WMD support to DoD, interagency and international partners, continuously adapting to technical, operation and geo-strategic demands that determine current and future requirements.
Ensures a reliable, resilient strategic deterrent through nuclear surety, mission assurance, and crisis response activities; develop and deliver innovative capabilities to the warfighter across the threat spectrum; prevent, reduce and eliminate CBRN threats through risk reduction, arms control, partner capacity building and warfighter support; provide strategic and operational support through subject matter expertise, technical reach-back, tailored analysis and exercise support; and support the Joint Force with plans, concepts, exercises and material solutions to address CBRN operations and strategic risks.
Provides the technological, operational, and intellectual underpinnings of a coordinated, Defense-wide approach to addressing the risks associated with WMD and emerging threats.
Manages the Congressionally-authorized Cooperative Threat Reduction (CTR) program to assist eligible partner nations in transporting, securing, eliminating or otherwise preventing the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction (WMD) and associated infrastructure, strategic delivery systems and expertise.
Responsible for integrating all resource management, acquisition management, strategic planning, and logistics and administrative support across the CTR program.
Advises the CT Director and Deputy Director on all phases of CTR planning, programming, budgeting and execution.

Qualifications
You may qualify at the GS-14, if you fulfill the following qualifications:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service:
Experience in developing requirements and solutions to close gaps in support to operational missions in areas such as travel, logistics, training, manpower, information technology management, or export control.
Experience serving as a Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).
Experience serving in a lead role for project teams; developing effective working relationships with DoD, interagency, and international partners.
Experience leading the development of new policies or Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), through extensive coordination with officials outside the Agency, Department, or U.S. Government.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Education
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
