About the Position: Serves as a Program Analyst in the Business Management Directorate (BMD), Integrated Logistics Support Center (ILSC). Performs the full range of review and analysis functions to identify and plan fiscal resources needed to conduct ILSC operations.
Duties
Prepare budget requests or justifications for funding for higher management.
Evaluate data submitted for consistency with previous estimates, current levels of program operations, and anticipated changes in staffing, changes in mission requirements, and/or funding levels.
Monitor the use and rate of expenditure of funds through continuing dialogue with Directors and financial personnel, review of written documents, and examination of accounting records.
Prepares a variety of reports covering the status of funds, expenses, and obligations as required.
Assists and coordinates preparation of monthly Funding Execution Review and Analysis, reviews content for accuracy and validity.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- The duties of this position require occasional temporary duty (TDY) travel up to 10%.
- This position has a Data Analytics requirement. The incumbent must meet all requirements for Data Analytics level one (1) certification within 12 months of being placed on the position.
- This position requires you to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
- DoD Financial Management Certification level 2 is required for this position and must be achieved by the incumbent within two years of entrance into this position. Incumbent shall adhere to guidelines and requirements of this certification program

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11)
