Duties

You will maintain supply files in a database to track information needed for reports and briefings. You will accomplish document control work (e.g., processing receipts, adjusting documents) according to established organizational supply policies and procedures. You will oversee stock maintenance at or within prescribed levels and establish or adjust stock levels and reorder points using standard formulae and prescribed procedures. You will contact vendors to obtain or negotiate prices, delivery, discount terms, transportation, or other order provisions.

Requirements

Qualifications

In order to qualify for this position, your resume must provide sufficient experience and/or education, knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are being considered. Your resume is the key means we have for evaluating your skills, knowledge, and abilities as they relate to this position. Therefore, we encourage you to be clear and specific when describing your experience. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying standardized supply regulations, policies, and procedures to maintain materials and supplies; 2) Maintaining automated supply systems to ensure accurate inventory of supplies; 3) Preparing reports to inform management of inventory and order status; 4) Processing purchase orders; 5) Receiving materials and ensure appropriate action (i.e. store or issue).
