About the Position: This position serves as a Logistics Management Specialist performing work on one or more logistics systems involved with the management, visibility, and reporting of asset and/or item data.

Duties

Assists higher graded personnel supporting Armys logistics business processes and associated data in the management of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and non-ERP supply and material management in Army logistics Information Systems (LIS). Assist in consolidating study results and presents alternatives and solutions. Under the purview of a senior Logistics Management Specialist, develops and maintains appropriate documentation and functional user instructions. Performs data research and analysis using automation. Incumbent is required to prepare and provide briefings or training classes as required. Develops methods to identify, analyze and resolve problems identified.

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance for the duration of employment.
• This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of up to 10% of the time.

OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
