You will serve as a ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT ASSISTANT in the Office of the Senior Marine Corps Representative of NAVAL POSTGRADUATE SCHOOL.
Duties
You will maintain a calendar by scheduling, rescheduling, and coordinating appointments and meetings.
You will use automated computer systems to purchase supplies and track purchases.
You will gather, analyze, and present written and oral data to relay information
You will prepare correspondence or documents with correct grammar, spelling, capitalization, or punctuation in compliance with organizational guidelines.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card to make official government purchases for goods and services.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Developing work methods, processes, procedures, guidelines, records and files to support administrative functions; 2) Preparing briefings, reports, and presentations utilizing software required for completion of duties (e.g., Excel, Access, Outlook, Word); 3) Coordinating conferences and meetings to ensure equipment and material is available and functioning; and 4) Utilizing automated DoD systems to manage travel and financial transactions.
