About the Position: This position is with the Joint Munitions Command located at Hawthorne, NV. Serves as a Commander's Representative at a government-owned contractor operated (GOCO) site. Directs activities of the installation by applying management methods necessary to accomplish mission and ensure compliance with policies prescribed.

Duties

Provides overall management and administration to assure continuity and general coordination of the organizations assigned activities involving government and contractor personnel. Oversees contractor execution of programs and operations for accomplishment of assigned functions in accordance with mission goals and contract requirements. Responsible for communicating and coordinating with all parties involved with contract evaluation and surveillance. Serves as first line or second line supervisor of Administrative Contracting Officer (ACO) or Contracting Officer Representative (COR), and may serve as ACO or COR if delegated authority. Performs analysis and evaluation of work processes and procedures to identify and develop more efficient ways of doing business. Recommends procedural, organizational, equipment, etc., changes to increase productivity. Establishes goals for employees in order to accomplish management objectives and goals.

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Must obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
  • Occasional TDY Travel may be required.
