AND Part B-Specialized ExperienceSpecialized Experience:  Applicants must have a minimum of one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 in the Federal service.  For this position, specialized experience includes the following:     GS-14 Specialized Experience: Applicants must have a minimum of one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 in the Federal service.  For this position, specialized experience includes the following:   Performing complex engineering analysis and studies related to radio frequency technologies, land mobile and wireless communications systems; Providing expert advice and assistance on complex engineering issues; Participating in technical discussions in meetings with industry, state and federal agencies, international groups and the general public; Interpreting guidelines, policies and procedures as they relate to technical engineering problems and issues; Preparing a wide variety of written communication for reports, analyzes of data, etc.; and Communicating with a wide variety of people on many organizational levels. PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
