About the position: This position will be assigned to the Bowling Center at Robins AFB, GA.
Regular Part Time Employees are guaranteed 35 hours per week but may work up to 40 hours per week.

Duties
Serves as Building and Maintenance Manager. Has technical accountability for equipment acquisition, usage, maintenance and management of bowling facility, manpower management, procurement advisory services, scheduling and coordination. Develops, organizes, controls and carries out the overall maintenance of improved and unimproved areas in the bowling center. Independently serves as subject matter expert in a technical area. Reviews applicable regulations and directives to determine appropriate actions to take or recommend. Gathers, monitors and maintains data to· complete reports, respond to inquiries and assist others. Coordinates activity between units. Plan and oversees minor construction, repair, renovation and alteration of facility. Determines materials, tools, methods and techniques appropriate for each project. Has the ability to instruct subordinates on all projects. Prepares required maintenance procedures and schedules to insure timely repair of equipment and facility as assigned. Obtains through proper channels the necessary tools, parts, materials to complete projects and proposals for administrative review and approval. Exercises full supervisory control over work operations and subordinates. Plans work assignments on a short range and long-range basis as requirements dictate. Provides training, instruction, work schedules, quality and quantity standards. Approves/disapproves leave requests and provides administrative supervision to a minimum of seven(7) employees. Works under the supervision of the Bowling Center Manager who furnishes broad policy guidance and reviews work primarily based on facility appearance and equipment operation.

Qualifying Experience:
Incumbent must have the experience and ability to explain and demonstrate the procedures necessary to accomplish the work and assign subordinates to accomplish the tasks. Must have experience in planning and directing the acquisition of all equipment, supplies and services for facility maintenance. Must have the skills and abilities to evaluate the work being performed, be able to identify problems, provide solutions and provide training and instructions for work operations and repair of equipment and tools. Must possess ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, co-workers, subordinates and customers. Must have experience in a bowling facility which provided the basic knowledge of bowling programs, procedures
and rules, and which provided an in-depth knowledge of the operations of the building.
Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution.
