As the Supervisory Administrative Officer, you will be responsible for directing the administrative support activities for the Region's assigned offices, serve as the principal advisor to the Regional Field Administrator on issues affecting administration and provide technical direction to Supervisors on administrative requirements and internal controls.

Qualifications
To meet the minimum qualifications for this position, you must meet the specialized experience requirements.To qualify for the Grade 14, you must have at least one year of experience equal or equivalent to the GS-13, it must include:
Experience leading and directing the execution and evaluation of multi-state administrative support functions, identifying problems, implementing solutions and continuous improvements.
Experience representing the organization's management, providing technical assistance and direction to Supervisors on administrative requirements and internal controls and ensuring subordinate organizations comply with all administrative policies and procedures.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
Accountability - Holds self and others accountable for measurable high-quality, timely, and cost-effective results. Determines objectives, sets priorities, and delegates work. Accepts responsibility for mistakes. Complies with established control systems and rules.
Control of Funds - Knowledge of the principles, procedures, and requirements for maintaining control and accountability of obligations and expenditures for all appropriations and fund accounts (for example, revolving, non-appropriated, multiyear, and single-year appropriations).
Personnel and Human Resources - Knowledge of hiring, classification, benefits, labor relations, negotiation, and Federal, state, and local employment regulations.
Administration and Management - Knowledge of planning, coordination, and execution of business functions, resource allocation, and production.
