About the Position: : Serves as a multifunctional Logistics Management Specialist for JPEO Armaments and Ammunitions. Responsible for developing logistics support policies, concepts and standard operating procedures.
Duties
Serves as the Property Book Officer and plans and executes the property management program for the organization.
Maintains 100% accountability of all Government property, including sensitive items via routine management and execution of inventory inspections.
Serves as the point of contact and advisor for auditors, inspectors, and investigators by explaining and justifying overall local policies and procedures used to account for property.
Manages property accountability using an Accountable Property System of Record (APSR) such as Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS), Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A) or other designated system.
Prepares appropriate relief documents for government property lost, damage or destroyed in accordance with the Policies and Procedures.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
- This position requires temporary duty (TDY) travel up to 25% of the time.
- This position requires Acquisition Certification Level I in the Career Field of Life Cycle Logistics.
- This position requires you to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.
- Selectee must meet position requirements for certification at Foundational Level in Acquisition Career Field Life Cycle Logistics must be met within 36 months of entrance on duty.

Specialized Experience: To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized Experience is defined as (1) Performing Property Management duties within the Department of the Army. (2) Ensuring execution in accordance with standard operating procedures, training materials, and Army policy/regulations relating to property management. (3) Experience using accountable Property System of Record (APSR) such as Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS), Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A), Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) or other designated system.
