Join the team! This position is located in the Office of Facilities Services, Office of the Executive Director, U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). Serves as CPSC’s Director, Office of Facilities Services (EXFS) and reports directly to the Deputy Executive Director (Operations Support) with responsibility for supervising, planning, directing, implementing, controlling, and evaluating CPSC's program for facilities management.

Qualifications
All applicants must have 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the Federal Service. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.
Qualifying specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
GS-14: 1) Demonstrated experience in managing an innovative and service-oriented facilities services program; 2) Experience that demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of facility project management for real property, including office and warehouse space; 3) Experience that demonstrates knowledge of facility physical security and emergency preparedness principles and practices; 4) Demonstrated experience in coordinating and executing a programmatic operating budget to effectively meet objectives; and 5) Utilizing leadership and management techniques to deliver facility, physical security, and administrative services to multiple geographic locations.
