These positions are located in Rio Puerco Field Office, Albuquerque, New Mexico, Socorro Field Office, Socorro, New Mexico, and Taos Field Office, Taos, New Mexico.
This position is concurrently open to all U.S. Citizens under Announcement Number BLM-NM-25-12619930-DE-OPM.
Salary Range:
Albuquerque, NM: $87,878 - $114,237.
Socorro and Taos, NM: $86,962 - $113,047.
Duties
Serve as a consultant, coach and supporter to facilitate problem solving and accomplishment of Field Office goals and programs for the multi-resources program.
Responsible for administration of a variety of management programs such as safety, upward mobility, cost reduction, leave programs, Equal Employment Opportunities (EEO), drug free workplace, overtime usage, suggestions, etc.
Coordinate land and resource planning and management with representatives of Federal, State, tribal, and local governments, the general public, public land users, and private landowners.
Responsible for planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating a broad array of complex resource programs requiring intensive multiple-use management and protection of a variety of resources with a focus on fluid and solid minerals, realty, range, recreation and/or archaeology.

- You cannot hold an active real estate license, nor can you have an interest or hold stocks in firms with interest in Federal Lands.
- If you are a new employee or supervisor in the Federal government, you will be required to complete a one-year probationary period.
- Selectee will be required to participate in the Direct Deposit Electronics Funds Transfer Program.
- You may be required to travel overnight away from home up to 5 nights per month. You must obtain a government charge card for travel purposes.
- You will be required to complete a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450 on an annual basis.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a valid state driver's license.
Qualifications
In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described below. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To be considered minimally qualified for this position, you must demonstrate that you have the required specialized experience and/or education for the respective grade level in which you are applying:
Specialized Experience: Applicants must have one full year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service (obtained either in the private or public sectors) performing the following: (1) planning, implementing, and/or administering a natural resource program in a multi-resource environment involving the management of public lands; (2) managing or directing one or more natural resource programs within a multiple-use framework or natural resources management setting; (3) working with an established budget system; (4) managing public lands for multiple use, such as energy, mineral and renewable resources. (Note: Your resume must describe this experience, or you may be found ineligible).
TIME-IN-GRADE REQUIREMENTS: Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-11 is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-12 level. (Must submit your SF-50 that shows Time-in-Grade eligibility and reflects your title, series, and grade. No award SF-50 will be accepted).

Education
There is no substitution of education for experience at the GS-12 grade level of this announcement.
