This SUPERVISORY PRODUCTION CONTROLLER (AIRCRAFT) is located at an Air National Guard (ANG) Airlift Wing, Maintenance Group, Maintenance Operations Flight and is part of the CA 144 FW.
Duties
THIS IS A T5 EXCEPTED SERVICE, TEMPORARY POSITION NOT TO EXCEED 1 YEAR
Selectee may be non-competitively extended up to 4 years if/when funding becomes available.
The primary purpose of the SUPERVISORY PRODUCTION CONTROLLER (AIRCRAFT), GS-1152-11, is to serve as a consultant to the Maintenance Group Commander / Director of Maintenance.
Qualifications
General Experience: Experience, education or training which indicates the candidate can reason in quantitative terms, communicate orally and in writing in a clear and concise manner, understanding the terminology and data pertaining to repair operations and process characteristics of the production activity.
SUPERVISORY PRODUCTION CONTROLLER (AIRCRAFT), GS-1152-11: Must have at least one year of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the GS-09 level, or equivalent pay band in other pay systems in the Federal government. This experience may also have been obtained in the private sector, but must demonstrate that it is comparable to the GS grade indicated. Specialized experience may have been demonstrated by performing duties such as: Experience, education or training in computations of cost data on labor and materials, buying materials or reviewing data with respect to man-hours, machine time, materials consumed, etc. Experience with current automation support programs to input data, provide status of equipment, and monitor job order status, monitor work priorities, requisition repair parts, track repair parts status, etc; Experience in managing the function of work to be performed; Experience that includes leading, directing and assigning work of personnel.
