About the Position: The Anniston Army Depot is located in Anniston, Alabama in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountain chain halfway between Atlanta, GA and Birmingham, AL just off Interstate 20. The Depot is the largest employer in Calhoun County with approximately 4000 employees.

Duties

Validate purchase requests according to established guidelines. Assist maintenance MRP Planner/Buyer in making necessary adjustments to Depot Overhaul Factors to eliminate excess inventory. Review special inventory categories to promote the economical use of parts on hand. Contact other shops to perform needed reclamation of parts. Ensure the timely generation of requisitions processed via Military Standard Requisitioning according to Army regulations.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• The duties of this position require the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate vehicles.
• This position requires Temporary Duty Travel (TDY) at least 70% or more.
