You will serve as a TECHNICAL INFORMATION SPECIALIST (PED) in the MRO ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT, TECHNICAL DATA & DOCUMENTATION DIVISION of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST.
Duties
You will research and manage configuration of technical data
You will utilize the Management system to research.
You will provide reference and research to customers.
You will maintain technical data for programs and systems.
Requirements

- This is a bargaining unit position.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing some or all of the following duties: 1) Utilizing the Enhanced Library Management System (ELMS) database to research and manage configuration of technical data; 2) Providing reference and research assistance to customers; 3) Maintaining digital technical data for aircraft programs and systems; 4) Developing and presenting specialized training on technical data requirements, data configuration control and use, and database management; and 5) Researching maintenance requirements, assisting production in establishing data requirements, and coordinating acquisition and distribution of paper and electronic technical data.

Education

2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education or master's or equivalent graduate degree, e.g., LL.B. or J.D., related to the position
