You will serve as a SUPPLY SYSTEMS ANALYST in the SYSTEMS SUPPORT DIVISION of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT. This vacancy may be filled in Mechanicsburg, PA or Philadelphia, PA.

Duties

You will serve as the senior supply systems analyst and Subject Matter Expert (SME) providing IT/Business analysis support on a functional team within the Systems Support Department. You will analyze and solve supply and supply chain problems for the Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, including missing/failed transactions, erroneous data in ERP, incorrect general ledger postings, etc. You will provide assistance to the Department Director and Deputy Director in responding to broad policy inquiries related to both internal and external supply chain management issues. You will provide customer support to explain how the ERP system operates and to research/explain unexpected results in the system. You will work in conjunction with business analysts and technical teams in the implementation, use, and sustainment of data analytics within Navy ERP and outside software including SAS.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Directing and/or coordinating the efforts of a team to ensure all data and reports requirements are in line with strategic plans and goals; 2) Providing support and expertise on all aspects of Supply Planning or Inventory Management; 3) Collaborating with technical and functional teams, business partners, and other internal and external stakeholders to resolve user and customer service issues and problems; 4) Executing organizational projects aimed at improving efficiency and/or increasing the Command's overall readiness position; 5) Analyzing and summarizing significant data issues/trends and communicating information to upper management; 6) Developing and providing training to customers; 7) Ensuring team members apply functional knowledge to solve problems and recommend solutions to support a large user base; and 8) Gathering and developing systemic requirements for future systemic changes and applications.
