Duties

Serve as the Property Administrator with full responsibility for oversight over a large amount of government property in the possession of contractors. Participate in meetings to provide an understanding of property management programs that have a substantial impact on the contractor's operations. Perform property management system analyses to determine compliance with applicable regulatory guidance. Evaluate the contractor's proposed procedures for the control/accounting for government property. Conduct investigations pertaining to assigned contractors' liability when government property is lost, damaged, or destroyed.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. If the security clearance is denied or revoked, the individual may be denied or removed from the position, accordingly.
• This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Foundational Certification within 36 months of entrance on duty.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify.
