About the Position: Responsible for managing the efficient and effective accomplishment of the planning and execution of encroachment resolution activities in the Management & Disposal (M&D) and acquisition programs for the Green and Barren River Basins. Responsible for providing guidance as needed for real estate analyses prepared for proposed and authorized civil works disposals, acquisitions or other real estate methods used for encroachment resolution.
Duties
Serve as the primary point of contact for all Encroachment Resolution Program activities for Civil Works.
Manage and perform work involving project milestones and budgets for all projects within the program.
Prepare and answer correspondence, prepare fact sheets, issue papers and decision documents relevant to real estate projects/programs.
Provide guidance as needed for proposed and authorized civil works disposals, acquisitions or other real estate methods used for encroachment resolution.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes applying real estate principles, concepts and practices to ensure that projects within the areas of specific responsibility are completed in a timely manner and within budget. Advise and assist others on matters related to real estate encroachments, coordinate and negotiate with property owners, Federal agencies, and state and local governments. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service GS-12.
