You will serve as an Aircraft Oxygen Equipment Repairer Supervisor in the FRCSE of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST.

Duties

You will demonstrate work methods and explain unusual steps or processes for aircraft oxygen equipment repair or maintenance You will train rain junior employees in aircraft oxygen system work methods, procedures, equipment usage, and shop safety. You will inspect aircraft oxygen system components to verify operating condition You will coordinate with other work units, establish performance standards for accomplishment of work. You will plan daily/weekly sequence of work operations for subordinates.

• You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
• Work is performed in areas where potentially harmful physical and chemical agents are present (e.g. fumes, dust, heat, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation and chemicals). You will be required to participate in medical surveillance programs.
• This position requires rotating shift work.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
• You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.

Keeping work operations under observation and control, while resolving problems and overcoming bottlenecks, equipment breakdowns, material shortages, and other causes of delay and inefficiency 3. Discussing work issues with higher level supervisors and recommending appropriate changes in procedures and creating performance ratings 4. Interpreting blueprints and preparing layouts and sketches. 5.
