Duties

Advise Director and subordinate staff on the logistics status and logistics support required and available for current or proposed operations. Research and interpret regulations, directives, and policies to instruct staff on logistical matters. Execute activities that relate to receipt, storage, and issuing of supplies Analyze reports and request for assistance in resolving logistical matters Plan work to be accomplished by subordinates and provide regular feedback on strengths and weaknesses Recommend approval or disapproval of request for expenditure funds based on priority of request and funds availability Provide guidance to subordinate elements on formulation budget estimates for logistical requirements

Requirements

  • This position requires you to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

For this job, you must meet the qualifications requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Budget AdministrationLeadershipOrganizational Performance AnalysisTechnical Competence Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
