About the Position: Serves as the Chief of the Criminal Intelligence Directorate, Senior Intelligence Officer (SIO), Foundry Program Manager, Intelligence Oversight Officer (IOO), and the Lead Army Investigative Analyst for the Department of Army Criminal Investigation Division (DACID) located in Quantico, Virginia.
Duties
Develop, coordinate, and implement the DACID Criminal Intelligence Program and oversees the program.
Supervise the observation of occurrences and advises on crime and threat events and trends
Make authoritative determinations concerning acquisition, maintenance, and release of criminal intelligence information.
Oversee criminal intelligence collection within DACID by providing advice and counsel to individuals responsible for all field entities.
Perform as the DACID staff lead for the development and implementation of the Army Insider Threat Program.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Position requires the Temporary Duty (TDY) business travel approximately 25% of the time.
- One-year supervisory probationary period may be required. A one-year probationary period is required if the selectee has not previously met this requirement.
- Must possess and maintain a valid stateside driver's license.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
- This position requires you to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: applying various investigative methodologies to analyze data for trends and events; planning, leading, and recommending guidance on criminal intelligence operations; and producing and disseminating investigative reports and/or briefings. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-14).
