About the Position: This is a permanent position for the U.S. Military Entrance Processing Command (USMEPCOM) supporting the Phoenix Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS).

Duties

Provides training on proper test score data entry. Oversees test material security, control, and storage procedures. Resolves test scoring automation issues.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Regular evening and weekend work is required.
  • Frequent local travel and occasional Temporary Duty (TDY) required.
  • Position requires Temporary Duty (TDY) business travel up to approximately 25% of the time.
  • The duties of this position require the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate vehicles.
  • Appointment to this position is subject to a one-year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315. While probationary the incumbent can be terminated with limited appeal rights.

You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Database Management SystemsManages and Organizes InformationOral Communication Time in Grade Restriction: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must meet the Time in Grade Restriction. Time in Grade Restriction: Must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the second lower grade (or equivalent) (GS-05).
