You will serve as an IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC) in the Command Operations Department, NMCI and Cybersecurity Department, of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.
Duties
You will develop and implement Cybersecurity (CS) methods and techniques used for the protection of information, equipment, programs, and facilities from theft, damage, destruction, unauthorized access, manipulation, or modification.
You will develop and implement a variety of Cybersecurity (CS) procedures and policies involving CS systems and devices.
You will plan and conduct risk and threat analyses of Cybersecurity (CS) systems and make recommendations for improvement.
You will investigate breaches of security or noncompliance and prepare reports for all incidents.
You will provide direction and guidance on security requirements, ensuring systems operate with the most effective security posture in compliance with Federal and local directives.
You will prepare and conduct formal and informal training and lectures on Cybersecurity (CS) policies, programs, and procedures.
Requirements

- This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code 722, proficiency level Intermediate the incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Planning, developing, coordinating, and implementing Cybersecurity (CS) systems for assigned program. Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Applying knowledge of enterprise incident response program, roles, and responsibilities; 2) Keeping up to date with current and emerging threats/threat vectors; 3) Working knowledge of incident response and handling methodologies; 4) Utilizing cybersecurity principles used to manage risks related to the use, processing, storage, and transmission of information or data; 5) Identifying possible security violations and taking appropriate action to report the incident(s); and 6) Ensuring security improvement actions are evaluated, validated, and implemented. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
