As a Partnership and Outreach Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordination of key projects and programs across the Division's portfolio of communication, outreach, and education and workforce development-related products and services for and with Manufacturing USA network partners.
Duties
PARTNERSHIPS AND OUTREACH DIVISION
Develops and maintains strategic relationships with inter-agency and external partners and customers via an effective and efficient outreach and communications strategy focused on advanced manufacturing federal and public-private partnership efforts. Pilots, develops, and implements programs to prepare the workforce of the future for jobs in technologies developed by Manufacturing USA institutes.
In this position, you will:
Coordinate with project leads and the Division Chief to monitor plans, timelines, and deliverables for the Manufacturing USA strategic communications campaign
Provide support for website postings to include identifying content
Support drafting and editing social media copy
Assist with the distribution of public facing email communications
Provide operational support of work streams associated with key annual projects
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship

Qualifications
Applicants must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 level (ZA-II at NIST) in the federal service.
Specialized experience is defined as:
Experience with managing complex project plans to ensure efficient, quality, timely execution of deliverables and outputs.
Communicating with a wide variety of internal and external audiences.
Writing and editing information for the public.
Conducting research and analysis for communications and outreach tools and processes.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
