Duties
You will serve as an IT SPECIALIST (SYSANALYSIS) in the ASHORE MODERNIZATION AND INTEGRATION DIVISION of the NAVY INFORMATION FORCES (NAVIDFOR) HEADQUARTERS located in SUFFOLK, VA.
You will develop systems concepts and works on the capabilities phases of the systems development lifecycle and translate technology and environmental conditions into system and security designs and processes.
You will provide process analysis support for readiness assessments and identification of systemic cyber operational issues.
You will serve as technical authority on new IT application developments, emerging technologies and their applications to business and mission processes to meet requirements.
You will evaluate and support documentation, validation, and authorization processes necessary to assure that new IT systems meet IA requirements.

- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code 641, proficiency level ADVANCED the incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies.
Qualifications
Applicant must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies or knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. You must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below:

**AND**
In addition to the four competencies above, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience applying knowledge of in the development and implementation of information technology enterprise architectures to include the documentation of such architectures using the DoD Architecture (DoDAF) system of views.
Experience applying knowledge in the Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) discipline for managing IT systems.
Experience applying knowledge in the development and implementation of data communications networks to address mission critical operations.
Experience establishing and maintaining effective relationships with team leaders, supervisors, managers, and co-workers on complex or controversial issues. Using written and oral communications techniques sufficient to prepare and present complex findings and recommendations to upper management, carry out specific actions regarding controversial issues and/or implementing new ideas and concepts.
