Duties
As a Supervisory Management Analyst in the Office of Administrative Management (OAM), National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities (NIMHD), you will be responsible for federal records management policy and implementation, executive leadership meetings (agendas, scheduling, stakeholder outreach, meeting materials preparation, meeting facilitation, meeting notes, and action tracking). Delegations of authority and policy and procedure development. Enterprise governance and risk management, organizational and change management, strategic activity planning and implementation and contract and project management.
If selected for the position, you may perform the following duties:
Establish priorities and provides oversight and supervision to the planning, development, implementation, and review of projects and initiatives.
Identify and propose solutions to management on problems characterized by their breadth, importance, and complexity, and for which previous studies and established management techniques were frequently inadequate.
Prepare a variety of comprehensive status reports, management summaries, and briefing papers that identify problems, assess the overall condition of work completed or in progress, and outlines issues, solutions, and recommendations.
Participate in planning sessions, contributes management-oriented expertise in discussions of innovative ways and means of carrying out assigned programs, new programs, etc. and provides expert advice on the administrative and management implications of policy and program proposals.
Supervise personnel to conduct in-depth studies, reviews, evaluations, and assessments of issues and proposals assigned; determines the functionality of unique organizational structures and provides necessary and appropriate coordination among key participants for the long- range planning and development of organizational strategies to meet objectives and mission.
