Duties
Provide secretarial support to the Executive Officer, Deputy Commander and/or Commander and also to a select group of one or more small offices.
Receive and screen visitors to certain supported offices; ascertain their business, arrange appointment, take messages and refer visitors to other staff members.
Make travel arrangements, including itineraries, reservations, and vouchers for the Deputy Commander and Executive Officer.
Coordinate and make arrangements for conferences.
Assist in formulating and updating the budget of the Executive Office and supported group of small subordinate offices.
Perform office automation duties involving several types of software packages to produce a wide range of narrative, statistical, and graphical documents .
Utilize financial management software to input annual operating budget for the Executive Office and several of the subordinate offices and to process various other actions.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position may require TDY 15% of the time.
- This position requires the incumbent to possess and maintain a valid State Driver's License.
- A qualified typist is required.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes:1)Making travel arrangements; 2)Preparing travel vouchers and itineraries in a financial system, 3) arranging for meetings to include reserving a space, 4) working with SharePoint page administration, and 5) performing basic administrative tasks relating to web page maintenance and updates.
