You will serve as a Public Affairs Specialist of NAVAL AIR STATION.
Duties
You will manage social media campaigns and day-to-day activities of social media pages for customers.
You will review content and presentation of information material submitted for dissemination.
You will coordinate with other members of joint services and government officials to present reports.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Developing original designs, concepts and visual styles for publications, exhibits, presentations, command social media sites, the command website, the command YouTube channel, and the installation mobile app, using various software design programs to elicit and deliver intended messages for multiple audiences; 2) Creating photography, audio and videography productions from scratch (conceptualizing, creating, staging). Selects a variety of visual materials such as photographs, illustrations, and video to communicate information to the target audience; 3) Utilizing graphical software and equipment to design and produce color presentations in multiple media.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Have successfully completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree. OR
Have successfully completed three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree. OR
Have successfully completed an LL.M. degree that is related to the position being filled. OR
Have a combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
