Requirements
- Acceptance of an excepted service position constitutes concurrence with these requirements as a condition of employment.

- Continued employment in this position is contingent upon satisfactory completion of the mandatory training specifically identified for the position.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the Government Travel Credit Card (GTC) as a condition of employment.
- Must possess a valid PR State driver’s license to operate government motor vehicle in accordance with Service specific Vehicle Operations Directives.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate SECRET security clearance for the position.
- Federal employees currently serving in the excepted service (Title 32) must acknowledge they will voluntarily leave the Title 32 excepted service by accepting an offer of employment for this NG Title 5 excepted service position.
- Irregular and overtime (compensatory) hours may be required to support operational requirements or contingencies.
- Position designated as Essential Personnel and may be subject to duty in preparation for, or in response to, a state emergency or disaster declaration and will not exceed 14 calendar days per year unless otherwise approved in advance by the TAG.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain receive the DoD mandated Defense Sexual Assault Advocate Credentialing Program (D-SAACP) certification and maintain certification through meeting annual continuing education training requirements.
- The incumbent of this position must be able to obtain and maintain required education and certifications within specific time from the appointment date, as applicable.

Area 1 = All permanent employees (NG T32/NG T5) within Puerto Rico Army National Guard.
Area 2 = All indefinite employees (NG T32/NG T5) within Puerto Rico Army National Guard.
Area 3 = Current serving members of the Puerto Rico Army National Guard.
Area 4 = Prior (former) members of the Puerto Rico Army National Guard
Area 5 = Current Federal Employees (from any agency)

DUTIES:
As a SEXUAL ASSAULT PREVENTION AND RESPONSE COORDINATOR(SAR-WF) (NGT5668000), GS-0101-12, you will serve as the Brigade (BDE) Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Coordinator for the military, civilians, and dependents. Providing 24/7 in person and telephonic response, Under the supervision of the Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Officer (State SAPR).
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Work Is primally sedentary, such as sitting comfortably. There may be some walking, standing, bending, and carrying of light items. No special physical effort or ability is required to perform the work.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
The work area is adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated. The environment involves everyday risks or discomforts that require normal safety precautions.
QUALIFICATIONS:

SELECTED FACTOR: (Minimum Requirements)
Degree: behavioral or social science; or related disciplines appropriate to the position that included at least 24 semester hours of course work in the behavioral or social sciences (copy of the official transcript showing conferred Degree must be submit with the application).
OR
Combination of education and experience that provided the applicant with knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field that included at least 24 semester hours of course work in the behavioral or social sciences.
OR
Four years of appropriate experience that demonstrated that the applicant has acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
Applicant must possess at least ONE (1) year in the occupational series code 0101 at the next lower-level GS-11 or THIRTY-SIX (36) months of specialized experience performing or supervising duties such as working knowledge of the National Guard organizational structure; advise, manage, implement, assess, and oversee Sexual Assault Prevention and Response programs; establishing sexual assault reporting process and accomplishing documentation; working knowledge of state sexual assault program administration, policies and practices; providing timely and accurate information to victims on the variety of resources and referrals, advocate and outreach; communicate effectively with victims to address victim safety and needs; evaluating procedures, results, relationships, and Interactions to accomplish quality Improvements and improve mission accomplishment; understanding unauthorized disclosures of confidential communication, and requirement for sensitivity and protection of victim privacy; coordinates continuity of care for transferring and/or separating victims; collaborates with military and civilian law enforcement and criminal investigative units, and must have expert speaking and writing skills to perform effective presentations, conduct training seminars, communicate with federal, state and local agencies, and medical facilities.
