This position is located in the Office of Chief Human Capital Officer (OCHCO), Human Resources Operations Policy (HROP), Benefits and Work life Programs Branch (BWPB). The supervisor is Karen Cobbs This  position is  Non Bargaining Unit This position IS not subject to Confidential Financial Disclosure reporting requirements. This position IS not subject to security ownership restriction reporting requirements

Duties

As a Human Resources Benefits Specialist, GG-0201-07, you will be responsible for:

  • This is a Drug Testing position.
  • Background investigation leading to a clearance is required for new hires.

Qualifications

In order to qualify for this position, you must have at least one year of specialized experience at the next lower grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.   PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU READ THIS VACANCY ANNOUNCEMNT IN ITS ENTIRITY.  Your resume must reflect the required specialized experience.   SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE is defined as:  Experience applying basic knowledge of NRC and Federal human resources regulations, policies, practices, and procedures sufficient to provide basic advice on human resources management/benefits questions; develop reasonable alternatives to day-to-day human resources problems; and to assure effective implementation of appropriate basic policies and procedures.    AND/OR Experience utilizing software applications sufficient to operate and maintain automated human resources systems. AND/OR Experience processing personnel actions in a HRIS system.
