Duties
The incumbent will serve as a Senior Project Manager and technical authority responsible for the most complex facility projects that involve significant budget and complex logistical challenges. Assignments involve leading and managing projects of agency-wide scope and importance. The incumbent serves as a recognized authority on facility projects by top level management officials within and outside the agency. Assignments involve collaboration with staff in the Office of Administration, those affected by the facility project(s), the General Services Administration, and other external entities to ensure that all project technical and schedule requirements are captured and accounted for in project planning. The incumbent manages and monitors project performance and progress and routinely briefs ADM senior management and other agency officials on the status of the project and risks to project success.

Qualifications
In order to qualify for this position, you must have at least one year of specialized experience at the next lower grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
1. Demonstrated ability to lead complex facilities projects, which involve significant budget and challenging logistical issues. (Examples should include work experience but may be supplemented by specific training and education that demonstrate appropriate knowledge and skills.)
2. Demonstrated ability to work with stakeholders (e.g., customers, co-workers, partner organizations) to accomplish tasks. (Examples may include experience that demonstrates an ability to establish a healthy rapport with partners, co-workers, and other stakeholders to accomplish significantly complex tasks.)
3. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with senior managers and customer organizations on matter related to project(s). (Examples should include verbal and written communications to senior level managerial audiences. Candidates should be specific in describing both verbal and written communication tools.)
Education
This job does not have an education qualification requirement; however, education that supports performance of expected job duties is preferred.
