Duties

Performs manpower analyst functions for assigned military organizations. Evaluates short, mid and long-range planning, and current and contingency requirements of the organization and mission. Assures that organizations are properly aligned with stated mission, functions, and higher headquarters staffing guides Provides guidance to organization supervisors concerning a variety of personnel issues, TDA and funding requirements of recruitment actions. Develops plans and procedures affecting control and distribution of personnel spaces by budget programs, projects and organizations.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • 10% Temporary Duty Travel (TDY) is required.
  • Secret Clearance.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Administration and ManagementPlanning and EvaluatingProgram ManagementTechnical Competence Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
