About the Position: About the Position: This position is located with the U.S. Army Sustainment Command, 406th Army Field Support Battalion located at Fort Liberty, NC.
Duties
Reviews and evaluates contractor work processes for compliance with contractual requirements.
Determines that property in contractor's possession is properly maintained, appropriately used, and in good condition.
Prepares and types of correspondence relative to the Central Issue Facility.
Performs administrative and technical work concerned with monitoring contractor's performance for compliance with contractual specifications.
Recommends contract modification to COR as required.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position may require the incumbent to Travel (TDY) up to 5% of the time.
- This position requires the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a Tier 1(NACI) security investigation.
- Term employment is subject to a one-year trial period.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience GS 9: One year of specialized experience equivalent to GS -07 grade level in the Federal service which includes: 1) monitor contracting procedures from inception to contract modification ,2) Evaluate and /or review contractor performance to assess compliance with contract requirements, 3) Recommend contract changes or modifications, and 4) Develop SOP for inspecting contract operations. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07)

Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Supply Chain Management, Inventory Management, or another related field.

Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.
