This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
Duties
Manage work as it is processed through the work management cycle from reception to work accomplishment.
Follow up with the customer to ensure work meets customer satisfaction.
Oversee and ensure the accuracy of operations and maintenance required data entered in to automated accounting system throughout the work management system.
Refer recommendations to higher level authority for approval.
Review plans, analyze and recommend changes to ensure that scopes of work and designs are in accordance with standards and/or guidelines.
Develop, evaluate and modify engineering work performance standards.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed by a Tier 1 background investigation.
- Term employment is subject to a one year trial period. Employees serving a trial period can be removed with limited appeal rights.
- Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE Form 450, is used to assist agencies and employees to avoid conflicts between duties and financial interest.
- This position requires pre-employment financial disclosure and annually thereafter in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R.
- The duties of this position require the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate vehicles.
- This position has a requirement to lift up to 50 pounds in the regular performance of duties.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 5% of the time.
- This is an obligated position. An obligated position is one to which an employee has statutory restoration rights or entitlement based on active military service, recovery from a compensable injury, or return rights based on an overseas tour.
- You will be asked to sign an agreement acknowledging that you are aware of the obligation and willing to be displaced under reduction in force procedures upon the return of the former incumbent.

In order to qualify, you must meet the requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: (1) Identifying, evaluating, and/or recommending improvements to work processes; (2) Overseeing work orders related to maintenance, repair, construction, and/or design of installation; and (3) preparing technical and/or administrative documents. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the Federal service (GS-10).
Education
