Duties

Perform all duties associated with recruiting, retention, and incentive management activities for the organization. Keep abreast of and advise organization personnel of changes affecting recruiting, retention, and incentive management functions. Process requests for change in force structure and coordinate with appropriate office. Provide sound and mature Army recruiting, retention, and incentive management advice. Gather information, identify, and analyze recruiting program issues for the organization.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Must successfully complete a physical.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
  • May be required to complete a 1 year probation period.
  • May perform additional duties as Unit Prevention Leader, which requires travel to conduct testing. If selected to perform these duties, Command will ensure incumbent completes and maintains DA UPL Certification Training IAW AR-600-85 .
  • TDY may be required up to 30% of the time.

Education

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you may qualify if your education meets the definitions below:

Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree LL.M., if related to the position being filled (TRANSCRIPTS MUST BE ATTACHED).

OR

Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages. (NOTE: You much attach a copy of your transcripts)
