Duties
You will serve as Integrated Prevention Coordinator in the Office of the Chief Staff Officer, REDCOM Norfolk, Norfolk, Va.
You will identify efficiencies and make recommendations to streamline the development of and delivery of primary prevention science perspectives in prevention planning.
You will assist with prevention program inspections for REDCOM and ECH V commands to evaluate program effectiveness and compliance with policy requirements.
You will deliver presentations to leadership on command prevention efforts and impact.
Requirements

Qualifications
Basic Requirements
Degree that included at least 24 semester hours of course work in the behavioral or social sciences.
OR
Combination of education and experience that included at least 24 semester hours of course work in the behavioral or social sciences, and that provided applicants with knowledge of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a 4-year degree as shown in A above.
OR
3. Four years of appropriate experience that demonstrated that the applicant has acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience with prevention programs and practices.
Experience and understanding of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) programs and practices.
Experience working under the direct supervision of the Naval Reserve Readiness Command (REDCOM) Supervisory Integrated Primary Prevention Coordinator (IPPC), who assigns work within s framework of priorities and overall project objectives.
Experience with a wide range of concepts, principles, practices, and procedures related to behavioral health, social, familial, and occupational functioning.
Experience in planning and establishing long-range integrated prevention goals, objectives, and measures for assessing program impacts to organizational effectiveness, risk reductions, and health promotion.
