Duties

Opens and closes facility daily which includes turning on and off lights, TVs, music, steam room, sauna whirlpool, stocking towels, cleaning, etc. Instructs, monitors and assists other Recreation Aids in proper opening procedures, maintenance of the center, and standards required to keep the facility in tip-top shape to ensure guest satisfaction. Maintains a friendly, helpful demeanor around and towards guests in order to project a positive image for Sports, Fitness and Aquatics and our programs. Responsible for money handling and maintaining internal control practices as a cashier.

Requirements

• Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
• Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
• A one year probationary period may be required.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, Chapter 2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.

Qualifications

1.Must demonstrate the ability to offer excellent guest service. 2.Must have or be able to obtain current American Red Cross First Aid and CPR/AED training certification within 6 months of hire.
