Duties

Issues, receives and controls cash receipts and change funds; verifies cash count of funds turned in by cashiers. Determines cash shortage or overages. Coordinate with DPW for facility upkeep/corrective actions. Assures only authorized patrons utilize the facilities. Submits daily report of operations. Assists in setting up parties according to party plan. May assist bartenders in setting up bars and/or cashier's bag. Perform as the Unit Safety Officer. Completes fire safety checks and secures the facility. Completes Daily Activity Reports. May monitor inventories and invoices, place and receive food and beverage orders using Food track or similar software. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
• Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
• A one year probationary period may be required.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2.
• Incumbent may also required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally-controlled facilities.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment physical is required for this position.
• This position requires working varying shifts, to include nights, weekends and holidays.
• May be required to lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
• Must meet state/local age (21) requirements for the serving of alcoholic beverage at the time of appointment (Projected appointment date: 01/02/2025).

Qualifications

Qualification Requirements are: Progressively responsible duties in the receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit, custody or other processing of cash items. Where duties involve selling alcoholic beverages applicant must meet state/local age requirements for the serving of alcoholic beverages at the time of appointment. Skill in providing customer service. Ability to communicate effectively. Highly Qualified candidates will have the following: Experience in the Food & Beverage industry. Experience leading other employees. Experience using software programs like Microsoft Office, Point of Sale systems, Management Information Systems, or gaming software. Possess exceptional customer service skills **Applicants that meet the highly preferred criteria will be referred to management for consideration first.
