This vacancy is for a GS-0305-5, Mail Clerk located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard, PERSONNEL and RESERVE FORCE READINESS DIVISION -LOG-1.
Duties
You will serve as a Mail Clerk with responsibility effective handling of all mail that arrives at, and is sent from, the Logistics Operations Command, Base New Orleans, Comptroller of Base Operations Department, Logistics Division in New Orleans, LA.
Qualifications
Applicant must have one year specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-4 or four years above high school. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. Examples of specialized experience include: Operating mailing equipment, sorting mail or wrapping packages for transportation.
Combining Education and Experience: Equivalent combinations of successfully completed post-high school education and experience may be used to meet total experience requirements at grades GS-5.
NOTE: Education can be substituted for experience at this grade level.
